Leahurst Bed and Breakfast is located in Tywyn in Mid Wales on the Cardigan Bay coastline and is surrounded by the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. Leahurst B&B is just a short walk from the sea front and Tywyn centre. Travelling by car usually takes less than 3 hours from the Midlands, or take the scenic train journey that cuts through the valleys and hugs the Welsh coast from Machynlleth to Tywyn.
Jackie and her husband John are the proud owners of the family run Leahurst Bed and Breakfast in Tywyn – The home of the scenic Tal-y-llyn Railway and the original Race the Train along the picturesque Dysynni valley.
Leahurst Bed & Breakfast is a large late Victorian residence built in 1879 with many period features. It is set within a walled lawned garden with ample private parking for guests. There are 3 ensuite bedrooms, with views of Snowdonia National Park and the sea.
There is an abundance of routes for the walking and cycling adventurers. Leahurst is within easy reach of the Welsh coastal path and would make a perfect stop off point.
For those of you interested in jet aircraft spotting, Leahurst Bed & Breakfast provides an ideal base to explore the Mach Loop, one of the few places you can look down on jets as they pass you by.
For the more active of you there is a range of water sports available in nearby Aberdovey, along with the famous Aberdovey Golf Course.
Local natural attractions include Dolgoch Falls, Bird Rock, Broadwater, Dovey Estuary, Cader Idris and Talyllyn Lake, all within easy reach providing exceptional views.
Other local places of interest include Corris Caverns, Centre of Alternative Technology, Dyfi Osprey Project and Devil’s Bridge Falls, to name but a few.
